An open concept contemporary home nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Northwood Hills; this luxury home is a sight to see! Built in 2013 with over 4,000 square feet, we had the great privilege of staging this million-dollar listing. The home staging highlights the natural elements and simple, yet subtle sophistication of the home. Scroll through these beautiful photos to see what we created!
This home on Elmridge was built to allow the living room to connect with the outdoors seamlessly by opening the stacking glass walls. We absolutely loved staging this beautifully open and inviting living room. When staging, we kept the architecture as our focus, accenting with clean lines, simplicity, and subtle use of color.
Prior to us bringing in furnishings to stage this home, it was a vacant listing. There was a lot of interest in the property, but no offers. Staging a vacant home helps to define the space for buyers and showcase the true potential of the rooms.
We went with monochromatic tones in the living space to keep the main focus on the outdoor oasis. Pops of blue make the transition from indoor to outdoor seamless. The floor to ceiling sliding glass doors add ampule light and color to this casually open floor plan.
Two seating areas were created in the oblong living area to divide the space. This home was built allowing you to connect the outdoors in by opening the stacking glass walls. When staging, we kept all of this as our focus of clean lines, simplicity, and subtle use of color.
Contemporary homes embrace clean lines and minimalism. Concrete floors keep a natural element running throughout the home. We created a sleek and fresh dining space by using the rug to anchor the room and help define a more intimate dining area. The modern chrome and glass globe chandelier add a fun, yet beautiful detail to this dining area.
The beautiful large picture window brings lots of natural light into this contemporary, luxury home. The oversized dining table warms the space to allow complete enjoyment of the lush neighborhood view accompanied by guests and the perfect meal. This table is accentuated with transitional high-back sloped chairs, upholstered in pewter wet velvet.
How could you not fall in love with the primary bedroom featuring floor-to-ceiling doors opening to the outdoor oasis? The space itself is simple yet exudes subtle sophistication. In hopes to make the house a home, we brought in the perfect amount of warmth through textiles.
To elevate the bedroom, we brought in texture with a beige tufted nail head bed. Staging removes doubt and skepticism from buyers about the size of the room and showcases that a king-sized bed is the perfect fit. The dark espresso finish on these transitional nightstands bring depth to this bright and airy bedroom.
Staging this vacant home was all about creating livability and defining the open-concept spaces for buyers. After staging and new photography by Lance Selgo, this million-dollar is now sold!
